1. It's none of your business.

不關(guān)你的事。

當(dāng)你拒絕朋友或同事的詢問時(shí),最好不要用上面的說法。因?yàn)橛袝r(shí)他人是出于熱情或禮節(jié),太過直白的拒絕會(huì)曲折了他們的好意。你可以說Sorry, it's not relevant to you. 或者Sorry, It's private. I can't talk about it. 都能避免雙方不必要的尷尬。

2. I'm done with you.

就到這里吧。

在與人共事時(shí),如果工作告一段落,千萬不要高興得忘乎所以,隨便開口說I'm done with you。雖然done with也是結(jié)束的意思,但是指人與人關(guān)系的了斷。所以I'm done with you.就是說“我和你斷交了。”

OK, we're finished here. 或者You can go, thanks.都是不錯(cuò)的工作結(jié)束語(yǔ)。

3. Shut up.

別說了。

如果你需要獨(dú)處安靜的環(huán)境,可不要輕易地說shut up,這樣會(huì)顯得你很粗魯。在很多情況下,人們會(huì)用quiet代替shut up,表達(dá)自己想要他人閉嘴的請(qǐng)求。有時(shí)說Can you be a little quieter? 抑或是OK, that's enough.更能有效地使周圍安靜下來,而不像shut up那樣引起矛盾、沖突。

4. You need to leave now.

你該走了。

如果朋友來訪,不巧你又很忙,在短暫寒暄后,你是不是很想脫口而出You need to leave now?這時(shí)你可以說It was nice meeting you. Take care.要么就說I'm very sorry. I've no time free at the moment. Goodbye. 你的朋友都會(huì)理解你的。
